Challenging Coastal conditions and a strong Architectural home helped to shape the design for this garden renovation in Wellington. As part of a wider property renovation, Noble Fox were engaged to create a design which enhanced the architecture of the home and using attractive hard and soft landscape materials that would withstand the southerly, salt laden winds.

Maximising space for busy family life was high on wish list and we were pleased to be able to incorporate larger lawn spaces, a ball court area and still have room for the trampoline. An existing deck was replaced with the new tiled outdoor living space and larger existing trees were retained, with a series of new planters constructed to give height and allow for topsoil and planting in an otherwise sandy site. New concrete walls and timber gates provide a sense of scale and form consistent with the existing facade.
